Crazy paving is natural stone cut into irregular flags and fitted together like a mosaic, with no repeating shape or coursing. Eight colours across sandstone, limestone, Kota limestone and basalt — supplied in two calibrated bands — 20–30 mm for pathways and 30–40 mm for driveways — so the finished surface lays flat and level, which is what most crazy paving on the market is not. Supplied to JW Marriott Ranthambore. Also called random rubble paving, random flagstone or mosaic stone flooring.
