Kota’s golden twin — verandahs that glow at four in the afternoon.
Kota’s golden twin — verandahs that glow at four in the afternoon.
Verandahs, courtyards and interiors that need warming. Also the better of the two Kotas under warm artificial light, where blue-grey can read cold. Pairs naturally with terracotta, timber and brass.
Rooms already dominated by warm materials — a lot of teak, a lot of terracotta — where it can tip a space into monotone. Imperial Blue is the better neutral there.
A settled warm brown that anchors a building to its ground — heavier than cream, warmer than grey.
Mineral movement through each piece: darker iron streaks, lighter tan patches, occasional rust veining.
Holds its colour steadily and comes forward at sunset. Strong under warm lighting.
Deepens to a rich chocolate, and is among the best of the range wet.

Stoneza — Anantay Exports Pvt. Ltd. — is a quarry-direct manufacturer, processor and exporter of Kota limestone, operating from Bhilwara, Rajasthan since 1992. We operate quarries at Bijolia, Kota and Asind alongside verified direct quarry networks across India, processing and calibrating every order through our in-house factories in Bhilwara with zero middle trader markups. We supply pan-India and export worldwide.
Send the quantity, the finish and thickness you need, and the delivery location. We come back with a firm quarry-direct quotation and a confirmed lead time. Thickness and finish options are confirmed at quotation stage. Because we quarry and process ourselves, the quotation comes from the works rather than through a trader — and we would rather quote against a real drawing than hand you an indicative range that changes later.
Kota Brown is the quarry and trade name; Amber Gold is our name for it. The spec code is STZ-FO-AMBE-POLI. Quote the spec code on a BOQ rather than either name — the same stone is sold under several names across India, which is exactly how substitution happens on site after a specification is approved.
A clean, even polish that deepens the colour and returns light without turning the surface into a mirror. The standard interior finish across most of our range. Progressive abrasive polishing to a medium-fine grit, stopped before the high-gloss stages. Shorter than a mirror process, which is why it costs less and keeps a slight softness. Wet grip: low — keep dry. Enough sheen to look finished, enough restraint to survive daily traffic without showing every mark.
Damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid descaling and citrus products on limestone and marble. Re-polish in place when it dulls, which in a house may be never and in a busy corridor may be a decade.
Size: 46"×22" | 22"×22". Thickness: 20 MM calibrated. Supplied machine cut / box pack at approximately 4.5 kg per sq ft. Custom sizing is available on project orders — send the setting-out and we will cut to it.
Yes. At 0.5-1.5% water absorption and 2600 kg/m³ density it is exterior grade. At under 1% absorption it needs no sealer and handles monsoon and wet areas without difficulty.
Yes. We export worldwide from Bhilwara with container loading, export packing and documentation handled in-house. Minimum order is project-based rather than a fixed count. For bulk and wholesale enquiries, container quantities and repeat programmes, send the schedule and we will quote FOB or CIF against it.
Yes, and we would rather you did. Ask for a wet sample as well as a dry one — every stone darkens when wet, some dramatically, and it is the one thing a photograph cannot show you.
Availability rather than capability. Polish and riverwash are the two we hold and cut regularly in this bed. If a project needs Amber Gold in another finish from the Imperial Blue list, ask — most are achievable to order, subject to lead time and quantity.
Yes. Feature walls, stairwells, reception areas and fireplace surrounds all work, and at 18–28 mm it projects little enough not to catch shoulders in normal circulation. Indoors, sealing is optional. Light it from above or below at a shallow raking angle rather than flat from the front — a raking wash picks out the edge of every piece, which is the whole reason to use a textured stone rather than a flat one.
Tell us your expected quantity and delivery site. A Stoneza consultant will calculate quarry-direct pricing, custom lead times, and arrange physical samples.
